Space Force and Judgy McJudgingtons

I had just the best day today (ok after lots of editing this was actually yesterday).  As the stay at home dad it’s mainly my job in the morning to force both boys out of bed, attempt to make them wear clean clothes, and as always beg them to eat.  This morning Liz took over and handled them.  I was able to actually sleep in for awhile.  I’ve been working on a new home office and moving a lot of furniture, painting, and laid down my first new flooring. At the same time I decided to clean out our office where we’ve been practicing to become hoarders when we get older, I decided it would be a good time to really hit the gym hard to see what my max lifts were for each muscle group.

At some point between all that I woke up a 95 year old instead of a 45 year old.  Every muscle ached or felt strained.  I had inexplicably pulled a muscle in just one butt cheek.  How is that even possible?  Every time I sat I felt like there was a hamstring in my butt cheek that was going to tear.  It was miserable.  I swear I felt like I pulled every muscle I own.  Therefore I took a few days off from the gym while I finished the painting and flooring.  I finally went back today and had the best workout.  While there my people watching was also excellent.  I am not even exaggerating when I say that I saw the largest most muscled human being I have ever seen in there today.  He had so many muscles on top of his muscles he looked cartoonish.  The best part was that he had this massive Hulk like upper body teetering on these tiny little legs.  I started to wonder he ad a real high squeaky voice too.  Cracked me up.  I wanted to sneak a pic to post here, but my luck he’d see it and the last thing I’d hear on my next trip to Gold’s would be “HULK SMASH!”

After some spirited debate with the wife, I was given a budget for what will be my new writing desk in our clean new office.  I went to the store and got a great one.  The checkout clerk was a man/boy with purple, blue, pink hair, and a big hoop going through the middle of his nose like a bull.  I have no problem or judgement towards any of those things, I am just trying to paint you a picture.  Today I was sporting one of my new favorite shirts from a veteran owned company called Grunt Style.  On the front of the shirt (pictured above) it depicts an imaginary logo for President Trump’s imaginary US Space Force with the tagline, “Stackin’ Bodies in Zero Gravity.”  This shirt cracks me up.  Unfortunately now I’m going to have to go political, but in my defense Rainbow Brite started it.

As I stroll to his counter he begins to read my t-shirt out loud, “Stackin’ Bodies in Zero Gravity?”  He eyes me up and down and his face contorts into the most disgusted face I’ve ever seen.  I chuckled a little bit and said, “Yeah you know Trump’s imaginary space force.”  He gives me a look like he just stepped in a huge pile of dog poop and says, “Stackin Bodies though, not funny.”  I said that maybe you have to be a veteran to get the joke.  He goes on to inform me that the Space Force is a ridiculous idea and will, “never happen.”  He opened the door, so I walked through it.

I said, “Well I don’t know we may have to fight a war in space against the Chinese or maybe even space aliens.”  I believe at this point I saw him actually bite down on his tongue for a minute while he decided whether or not I was joking.  I was. Mostly.  Next Bull Face can’t contain himself any longer and says, “I hope we just ridicule him right out of office.”  I replied, “You can’t really ridicule someone out of office.”  Then I said, “That’s where you guys go wrong thinking because someone hurts your feelings they have to go away.”  This is where I am pretty sure the steam started coming from his ears.  He so desperately wanted to tell me off as he clearly saw me as some kind of ignorant redneck caveman, but I’m guessing was worried he might get fired.  Very disappointingly, instead of letting me have it, he very snottily and with gritted teeth, finished our transaction and said with “Have a great day sir.” In a manner that told me he’d rather see me have anything but a nice day.

I felt obligated to impart some knowledge I like to share with all liberal leaning people.  I told him, “If you guys would’ve let Bernie win we probably wouldn’t be having this discussion at all.”  I began to brace myself for his head actually exploding, but after a few seconds it was clear he was not taking the bait.  As everyone knows the Democratic Party stole the nomination from Bernie that he was soundly going to win.  The head of the Democratic party even admitted it and still they ran Hillary.

Whoa I just deleted a couple paragraphs about Hillary as I remembered if she sees it I may have a terrible accident or decide to make toast while in the bath tub. Plus I don’t want to go down that rabbit hole.  I could write a book on how evil I find her.  Before you go all Trump hater on me, I don’t like him either.  I’m not an idiot, I was just confounded that as great as this country is these are the two ass hats that were nominated for President?  Dang it I’m going down the hole again.  Never mind all that.

Anyway, I left the store chuckling my head off at that kid’s disgusted and hateful looks.  It seems with some liberals diversity is great as long as you agree with their definition. It very clearly does not include redneck cavemen.  I got home with a smile on my face and put the desk together all by myself.  A major feat for me.  Almost as big of a deal as laying down (fake) wood flooring by myself.  Next was a great hockey practice with Luke and a chat to and from the rink and a cherry Coke Slurpee.  Then hours of “Live PD” and “Nightwatch” reruns.  I love those shows.

Now time to get really political.  What I mean by Judgy McJudgington is what’s going on with our Supreme Court appointee and the broader view of prosecution by media.

So after several weeks of grueling and often embarrassing interrogation (embarrassing on the part of the left side of the Judicial Committee like getting caught editing videos to make him look like a monster getting caught and still doubling down on it) the guy is a couple days away from confirmation and HOLD THE PHONE here comes a serious allegation of a sexual assault in high school from 36 years ago, in the form of a letter that Senator Feinstein had for several weeks, but didn’t think it relevant enough to report until the very last minute.

Before you put your vagina hat on and grab your torch let me say, that it is absolutely possible this woman is telling the truth and that this happened.  However, what is being spun in the news is absolute nonsense and I cannot believe we’ve become so tone deaf or stupid that we keep letting these people in the highest levels of government lie cheat and steal and get caught and not only not go to prison or lose their jobs, but they just keep doing it and no one in the press calls them out on it.

In this example Sen Feinstein stated she held onto the letter to protect this woman’s privacy.  Well why did she send you a letter in the first place if she wanted it to stay private? Maybe she just wanted to get it off her chest and let the Senator know the judge was some kind of scumbag pervert before she lets him get appointed to the Supreme Court. I don’t know. Problem is after sitting on the letter for weeks, Feinstein leaks the letter anyway.  In her defense at least she did not reveal the victim’s name.  The victim, Dr. Ford, did that herself.  She spoke with the Washington Post and gave them her name.  Then she claims she had to move due to death threats etc well sister you did that to yourself.

Do the Republican committee members balk at her accusations, and say “come on high school really? And now…like right before he’s nominated, not when he was a prosecutor, a local judge, or even a federal district court judge, now it bothers you.”  Do they say, “Sorry lady statute of limitations is over and we are going to ignore this and press on.”  No they do not do that.  They reach out to her in every way possible way to hear her side of the story as privately as possible.  They offered private meetings anywhere she wants.

What is reported however, is the GOP are bullying this poor victim who’s been thrust into this public light she did not want.  CNN and the Washington Post report that she was told she’d actually have to sit next to the guy in public hearings.  Not true.  Does anyone correct those statements? No not really.  Instead while at the gym I see a press conference with her scumbag lawyer who defended multiple male politicians against sexual assault victims.  Dr. Ford’s lawyer Debra Katz did everything she could to publicly destroy Paula Jones who accused Bill Clinton of sexual assault and she had a lot more credible evidence and was eventually paid off to go away.  She also defended Al Franken who was caught on camera.  Hypocrite much?

The GOP judiciary committee offered to send aids to Dr. Ford’s home or a secret and neutral location to get her story.  Instead through her lawyer she requests an FBI investigation first.  That’s just not happening, and even if it did what will it prove?  She says he did it and he says he didn’t.  She has thousands of people writing letters and signing petitions for her and so does he.  There are no witnesses or any other evidence of this happening.  Does he lose his appointment because she said so?  I have been reading extensively over the past few days on this.  Once Dr. Ford outed herself why wouldn’t she want to get this over with and give her testimony in private or otherwise? The FBI does not investigate alleged 30 year old non prosecutable cases.  Hell they’re not even very good at investigating crimes that happened in their own organization two years ago.

In a common sense and just world, would a very successful professional woman accuse a Federal Judge of attempted rape days away from becoming a Supreme Court Justice if it didn’t happen? Would she make up an awful story like that with nothing to gain but the worst kind of media attention?  Of course not. That makes no sense, and you would have to at least initially be inclined to believe her straight away.  However, we don’t live in that world.

We live in a world where some portions of our partisan population hate everything to do with people who think differently than them.  So much so they will commit violence and say anything to destroy politicians or public figures from the other side. I edited “liberals” out of that statement, because conservatives do it too.  We just don’t have the media power to be as loud about it.

When you consider the timing of a woman Senator not reporting the sexual assault of another woman until it was politically expedient to do so, and refuses to provide Dr. Ford’s letter in its entirety to the other members of the Judiciary Committee.  When you bear in mind the FBI used an invented dossier written by a company paid by Hillary Clinton, then leaked the document to the press and used those leaked articles to apply for secret warrants to spy on Trump’s campaign all the while texting their plot to each other how they would keep Trump from being elected and then try and lie about the whole thing.  All facts now by the way not Fox News sound bites.

Is not then possible that Dr. Ford believes so much in her liberal heart Kavanaugh must not be appointed to the court or was offered compensation once her accusations achieved their goal that she named Kavanaugh as her attacker?  You see this whole story is based on her notes while in therapy sessions.  In these notes she never names Kavanaugh as her attacker.  She never provides any actual evidence such as witnesses except Kavanaughs buddy who “jumped on top of the pair of them” or whose party she was at when this happened.  It was thirty years ago and sometimes trauma victims can’t remember exact details even if it happened yesterday. I know that for a fact, so I’m not holding that against her.  Is it not possible she believes so strongly in abortion rights that she agreed in an orchestrated effort to stop a pro life appointee? We all know how strongly and ugly people on both sides of the abortion issue can get.

This particular case is not even my main point just some evidence that the media picks and chooses who they judge.  As do people who can’t decide on a hair color.

The very left leaning media is now prosecuting men with reckless abandon.  That is of course unless it’s one of their own. Scores of women credibly accused Bill Clinton of rape and multiple forms of sexual assault and not only did they still champion him being Governor and then President, they excoriated his victims publicly. NBC News sat on credible accusations on Harvey Weinstein and Matt Lauer. Matt Lauer worked for NBC News assaulting other members of NBC News.

Not to harp on NBC, but they also sat on the infamous “P**sy grabbing” tape for years, because Billy Bush who was involved in that particular conversation with then media darling Donald Trump, wait for it…worked at NBC.  Not until it was clear Trump had switched political alliances to the other side did NBC feel obligated to release the years old tape.

As one of my favorite moonbats refers to it, “Faux News” is just as guilty.  Their CEO was a not so secret sexual predator.  Their biggest star Bill O’Rielly was a widely known serial pervert and had paid off several victims until they finally canned him.  Again perverts and liars on both sides of the political/media spectrum.

Unfortunately caught in the middle are the actual victims whether they speak out or don’t.  We’ve become so incredibly judgmental and divided.  We let tv and Facebook tell us what is right and what is wrong.  Meanwhile somewhere today some poor woman is submitting sexually to some boss somewhere to keep food on the table.  CNN and Debra Katz will not be coming to her aid.  Bill Clinton’s rape victims will never, ever see justice.  Bill O’Reilly is still a smug millionaire.  NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, and NCAA stars are still playing and getting paid even though they raped or beat a woman.  We only believe them when we want to.  Shame on all of us.

Have I solved the Kavanaugh/Ford issue? Nope.  I am skeptic of her cryptic details and its ultra convenient timing for Democrats.  I am disgusted how fast they will crucify Kavanaugh and still believe the Clintons are global heroes.  I hope Kavanaugh didn’t do it and really want to see him appointed to the Supreme Court.  On the other hand, if Dr. Ford has been living with this for 36 years and regardless of reason brings it up now to punish him, then I totally sympathize with her.  I just wish our media can be honest and we could not hate each other over things like Space Force t-shirts.
